Delivery around Richmond

What we check before a Richmond delivery.

Every property is different, but a few things come up again and again around the metro. Text us a few photos and we'll tell you what your site needs.

Tight city lots and alleys

Older neighborhoods often have narrow alleys, tight gates and cars parked on both sides of the street. Our tilt-deck trailer needs about 70 ft of straight-line room for a 20 ft container and about 120 ft for a 40 ft.

Mature trees and overhead lines

Big street trees and low service wires are common in established neighborhoods. We need about 13.5 ft of overhead clearance along the route, so look up as you walk the path from the road.

Clay after a hard rain

Central Virginia clay can turn soft after a few days of rain. If your yard is saturated, we'll move the delivery date instead of rutting it. Firm, reasonably level ground is what we're after.

Neighborhood and county rules

The City of Richmond and each surrounding county set their own rules, and many subdivisions have HOA covenants. Check with your zoning office and HOA before delivery day.

The full checklist, with diagrams, is in our delivery guide.

Anything not covered here, call or text (804) 822-4610 and ask.

01Do you deliver inside the City of Richmond?

Yes. We deliver onto private property across the city, including driveways, side yards, backyards and business lots. Older neighborhoods with narrow alleys, street parking, mature trees or low wires need a quick look first, so text photos of the approach to (804) 822-4610.

03Can I see containers before I buy?
