Container modifications

Build the container around what you need it to do.

Start with the container, add the features you need, and show us how you want it laid out. We'll review your design and put together a custom quote.

What are you building?

Pick the closest fit and we'll suggest a base container and components to consider. Nothing is added to your build automatically.

Think outside the box · design tool

Draw the container before we cut it.

Pick a size, add the doors, windows, insulation and power you need, and see exactly where everything lands on the wall — to scale, with real opening sizes. When the drawing looks right, send it to us and we'll price it and tell you what's realistic.

Build sheet

Start with a size

Not sure? 20′ fits most residential lots. 40′ is the usual pick for a shop or a farm.

Or start from a common build

Loads a typical layout you can change.

Cut into the wall

Adds to the wall you're looking at. Drag isn't needed — place it, then nudge it left or right.

Fit out the inside

These apply to the whole container.

Paint

Left as-is, the container keeps its original cargo finish.

Your build

No prices here on purpose — steel and freight move weekly, and the honest number depends on your site. We'd rather quote it than guess it.

Both options carry the full build sheet — size, every modification with its position, and the finish. Emailing opens your mail app with the details already written out; save the PDF first if you’d like the drawing attached too.

A real person reads it — usually Jack. He’ll tell you what a build like this runs, what the lead time looks like, and if there’s a cheaper way to get the same result.

Conceptual layout for quoting purposes. Door and window sizes are the ones we actually install and the wall lengths are real, but final placement, structural requirements, materials and fabrication details are reviewed by Central Virginia Containers before pricing.
