Delivery

What we check before delivery.

Southside deliveries usually mean long lanes, gates and open ground rather than tight lots. Text us a few photos of the route and we'll tell you what your site needs.

Long lanes and gates

Measure gate openings and look for culverts, ditches and low spots along the lane. Photos of the approach from the road help us plan. A 20 ft container needs about 70 ft of straight-line working room, a 40 ft about 120 ft.

Fields and woods roads

Fields and timber roads can look firm until a loaded trailer rolls in. Tell us what the ground is like and when it last rained.

Clay after rain

Clay gets slick and soft after a hard rain. If the ground is saturated, we'll move the delivery date instead of rutting your yard.

Trees and overhead lines

We need about 13.5 ft of overhead clearance. Low limbs over a driveway and service lines running to the house are the usual surprises.

02Can you deliver to hunting land or a field?

Often, yes, as long as the ground is firm and the truck can reach the spot safely. Send photos of the route from the road to where you want it. The driver walks it on delivery day and makes the final call, so have a Plan B spot in mind too.

03What size container is best for a farm or hunting camp?

A 20 ft is easier to place on tight or wooded ground and holds stands, feeders and ATV gear. For equipment or feed, a 40 ft or 40 ft high cube gives you the most room. Call us and we'll help you size it.

04How much does delivery cost in Southside Virginia?

Delivery is based on distance from our yard in Rockville. Call or text and we'll give you the complete delivered price.

05Do I need a permit or HOA approval?

Each county and the City of Emporia set their own zoning rules, and lake communities often have covenants. Check with your local zoning office, and your HOA if you have one, before delivery day.

06Is rent-to-own available in Southside Virginia?

Yes. Standard containers delivered within 150 miles of our yard are $99 down through our partner My Container Rental, with no credit check. Southside falls inside that range, and we'll confirm it for your address. See rent-to-own.
