How people use them

Built for farms, lake homes and jobsites.

A container is a lockable steel building that shows up finished on delivery day, no concrete pad required. Here's how people around Lynchburg put them to work.

01

Farms and acreage

Dry, lockable storage for feed, tools and equipment on farms in Appomattox, Campbell and Bedford. A 40 ft or high cube gives you the most room.

02

Lake homes

Storage for boat gear, dock parts and yard equipment around Smith Mountain Lake, without building a shed. Check your HOA rules first.

03

Contractors and builders

Lockable jobsite storage on new construction and renovation jobs in Forest, Lynchburg and Bedford. Rent month to month and we'll pick it up when the job wraps.

04

Homes and businesses

Garage overflow, a move or a workshop at home, plus inventory and equipment storage for shops along Route 29 and Route 460. Buy one outright or rent month to month.

Delivery

What we check before delivery.

Lynchburg-area deliveries run from steep lake lots to long farm lanes, and each has its own surprises. Text us a few photos of the spot and we'll tell you what your site needs.

Lake lots and HOAs

Lake communities often have covenants and narrow, winding roads. Check your HOA rules first, and tell us about tight turns. A 20 ft container needs about 70 ft of straight-line working room, a 40 ft about 120 ft.

Hills and steep driveways

The truck needs a firm, fairly level spot to set the container down. Steep drives and side slopes are the usual problem here, so send us a photo from the road.

Red clay after rain

Red clay gets slick and soft after a hard rain. If the ground is saturated, we'll move the delivery date instead of rutting your yard.

Trees and overhead lines

We need about 13.5 ft of overhead clearance. Low limbs over a driveway and service lines running to the house are the usual surprises.

The full checklist, with diagrams, is in our delivery guide.

Pricing

Buy, rent, rent-to-own or modify.

Container prices move with the market, and delivery depends on how far you are from our yard. We don't post a "starting at" number that leaves delivery out. Here's where to find a real price for your address.

FAQ

Lynchburg-area container questions.

Anything not covered here, call or text (804) 822-4610 and ask.

01Do you deliver to Lynchburg and Appomattox?

Yes, and across Campbell, Bedford and Amherst counties and around Smith Mountain Lake. Call or text (804) 822-4610 with your address for a delivered price.

02Can you deliver to a lake lot or steep driveway?

Often, yes, as long as there's a firm, fairly level spot the truck can reach safely. Send photos of the route from the road to where you want it. The driver walks it on delivery day and makes the final call, so have a Plan B spot in mind too.

03What size container should I get?

A 20 ft fits most home and lake lots and holds tools, gear and household overflow. For farm equipment or bulk materials, a 40 ft or 40 ft high cube gives you the most room. Call us and we'll help you size it.

04How much does delivery cost in the Lynchburg area?

Delivery is based on distance from our yard in Rockville. Call or text and we'll give you the complete delivered price.

05Do I need a permit or HOA approval?

Each county and the City of Lynchburg set their own zoning rules, and many lake communities have covenants. Check with your local zoning office, and your HOA if you have one, before delivery day.

06Is rent-to-own available in the Lynchburg area?

Yes. Standard containers delivered within 150 miles of our yard are $99 down through our partner My Container Rental, with no credit check. Lynchburg and Appomattox fall inside that range; some addresses toward Bedford and Smith Mountain Lake may not, so we'll confirm it for yours. See rent-to-own.
