How people use them

Built for jobsites, home lots and back acreage.

A container is a lockable steel building that shows up finished on delivery day, no concrete pad required. Here's how people around Fredericksburg put them to work.

01

Contractors and builders

Lockable jobsite storage for tools and materials on new construction and renovation jobs from Stafford to Spotsylvania. Rent month to month and we'll pick it up when the job wraps.

02

Homes and moves

Garage overflow, a move, a renovation or a workshop. A 20 ft fits most home lots, and it's a common pick for families moving in or out around Quantico and Dahlgren.

03

Farms and acreage

Dry, lockable storage for feed, tools, mowers and equipment out in Culpeper, Fauquier and King George. A 40 ft or high cube gives you the most room.

04

Businesses

Overflow inventory, seasonal stock and equipment storage for shops and businesses along the Route 1 and Route 3 corridors. Buy one outright or rent month to month.

Delivery

What we check before delivery.

Fredericksburg-area deliveries run from tight subdivision lots to long country lanes, and each has its own surprises. Text us a few photos of the spot and we'll tell you what your site needs.

Subdivision lots and HOAs

Newer neighborhoods often mean narrow lots, curbs and covenants. Check your HOA rules first, and tell us about tight turns. A 20 ft container needs about 70 ft of straight-line working room, a 40 ft about 120 ft.

Active jobsites

Tell us where the container should sit before other trades fill the lot. The truck needs firm, level ground clear of trenches, stockpiles and fresh fill.

Clay after rain

Clay gets slick and soft after a hard rain. If the ground is saturated, we'll move the delivery date instead of rutting your yard.

Trees and overhead lines

We need about 13.5 ft of overhead clearance. Low limbs over a driveway and service lines running to the house are the usual surprises.

The full checklist, with diagrams, is in our delivery guide.

FAQ

Fredericksburg-area container questions.

Anything not covered here, call or text (804) 822-4610 and ask.

01Do you deliver to Fredericksburg and Stafford?

Yes, and across the City of Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, Culpeper and Fauquier counties. Call or text (804) 822-4610 with your address for a delivered price.

02Can you deliver to a jobsite or new construction lot?

Yes, as long as the ground is firm and the truck can reach the spot safely. Send photos of the route from the road to where you want it. The driver walks it on delivery day and makes the final call, so have a Plan B spot in mind too.

03What size container is best for a jobsite?

A 20 ft handles tools and materials for most residential jobs and fits tighter lots. For larger builds or bulk materials, a 40 ft or 40 ft high cube gives you the most room. Call us and we'll help you size it.

04How much does delivery cost in the Fredericksburg area?

Delivery is based on distance from our yard in Rockville. Call or text and we'll give you the complete delivered price.

05Do I need a permit or HOA approval?

Each county and the City of Fredericksburg set their own zoning rules, and many newer subdivisions have covenants. Check with your local zoning office, and your HOA if you have one, before delivery day.

06Is rent-to-own available in the Fredericksburg area?

Yes. Standard containers delivered within 150 miles of our yard are $99 down through our partner My Container Rental, with no credit check. The Fredericksburg area is well inside that range, and we'll confirm it for your address. See rent-to-own.
